This Privacy Policy explains how ASEN Consulting LLC ("we," "us," "Hookd") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use Hookd.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: your email address, password (stored encrypted), and display name.
• Billing information: handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your full card number — Stripe does. We keep records of your plan, transactions, and subscription status.
• Content you submit: the product links and winning-video links you provide, and the analyses and scripts generated from them.
• Usage data: basic information about how you use Hookd, such as which features you use and when.

2. How we use your information

• To provide the service — generating scripts, grading videos, saving your projects.
• To process payments and manage your subscription.
• To send you essential emails (password resets, receipts, trial reminders, and account notices).
• To improve Hookd, including using aggregated and anonymized data to enhance our analysis and outputs.
• To protect the service against abuse and to comply with legal obligations.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us operate Hookd, including:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Our hosting and database providers — to run the application and store your data.
• Our email provider — to send you transactional emails.
• AI processing providers — to generate analyses and scripts from your inputs.

We may also disclose information if required by law.

4. The Hookd aggregate model

To improve the quality of scripts, Hookd maintains an internal, aggregated model built from analyses of winning videos across our users. This aggregate data is anonymized — it does not include your identity, your account, or the raw links you submitted. Your saved videos and product analyses remain private to your account and are never shared with other users.

5. Data retention

We keep your account data while your account is active. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep records for legal, tax, or accounting purposes.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email us at hello@tryhookd.ai.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including encrypted passwords and secure connections. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

8. Children

Hookd is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we'll notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
