Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Hookd, a product operated by ASEN Consulting LLC ("we," "us," "Hookd"). By creating an account or using Hookd, you agree to these Terms.

1. What Hookd does

Hookd helps creators analyze winning short-form videos and generate ready-to-film scripts for their own products. Hookd produces suggestions and creative drafts. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and deciding whether to use any output.

2. Your account

• You must provide accurate information and keep your password secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live.

3. Free trial, subscriptions, and credits

• New accounts may start a free trial. A payment method is required to begin the trial.
• Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your paid plan begins automatically and your card is charged.
• Plans include a monthly allotment of credits. Credits are consumed when you generate scripts or grade videos.
• You may also buy one-time credit packs. Purchased credits do not expire while your account is active.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until canceled.

4. Cancellation and refunds

• You can cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Except where required by law, payments for subscription periods and one-time credit packs are non-refundable once the period begins or credits are delivered.
• We may, at our discretion, offer refunds on a case-by-case basis.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Hookd for unlawful purposes or to create deceptive, harmful, or infringing content.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or disrupt the service.
• Resell or redistribute Hookd's outputs as a competing script-generation service.

6. Content and ownership

You retain rights to the products and materials you submit. Subject to these Terms, you own the scripts Hookd generates for you and may use them commercially. You grant us permission to process your inputs to provide and improve the service. We may use aggregated, anonymized data to improve Hookd.

7. Third-party sources

Hookd analyzes publicly available videos and product pages that you provide links to. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to analyze and model content you submit.

8. Disclaimers

Hookd is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that scripts will produce any particular sales, views, or results. Creative and marketing outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ASEN Consulting LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or revenue, arising from your use of Hookd. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we'll notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
